SARDINE ROLL


Pastry:
  • 250g cold butter
  • 500g flour (tpg gandum)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chilled water from refrigerator

Filling:

  • 1 can of sardine in tomato sauce
  • 1 onion-diced
  • red chili-diced
  • lemon/calamarsi juicesalt to taste

Pastry:

  • Rub butter and flour with a pinch of salt until it resembles breadcrumbs
  • Add in chilled water until a soft dough is formed
  • Cover the dough with cling flim and keep in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling

Filling:

  • Mashed the sardines and mixed the diced ingredients
  • Added in a bit of tomato sauce if you find it too dry
  • Squeezed some lemon/calamansi juice
